Responsibilities

  • Assist the pastry team in daily bakery production for high-end goods.
  • Prepare doughs, fillings, creams, and batters; assist with shaping, proofing, and baking.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure equipment is sanitized between uses.
  • Support mise en place for service, decorate and plate items as directed, and help with display table setups.
  • Monitor oven times, temperatures, and portion control to ensure consistent quality.
  • Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving ingredients for bakery operations.
  • Collaborate with chefs to meet deadlines for events, banquets, room-service orders, and restaurant demands.

Qualifications

  • Basic culinary or pastry training; relevant certificate or diploma preferred.
  • Interest in bakery and pastry with willingness to learn and develop techniques.
  • Fundamental baking knowledge: mixing, proofing, baking, cooling, and storage.
