Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread blog posts, articles, social media updates, and marketing copy for accuracy, clarity, and style.
- Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts to refine content concepts and ensure brand consistency.
- Manage content calendars and coordinate deadlines for a steady workflow of assignments.
- Optimize written material for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and best practices.
- Fact-check sources, statistics, and claims to maintain credibility and trustworthiness.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve overall content quality.
- Assist in formatting and uploading content to content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Maintain a library of style guides, glossaries, and content templates for efficient production.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a content editor, copy editor, or virtual assistant (at least 1 year preferred).
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and basic content management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting inconsistencies.
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
