Responsibilities
- Create and edit short‑form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other social platforms.
- Transform raw footage into polished videos with motion graphics, captions and brand styling.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of scheduled posts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video concepts with overall brand strategy.
- Optimise videos for SEO, platform algorithms and audience engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust editing techniques to improve reach and retention.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging social media trends and incorporate them into content.
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor for social media, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with additional editing tools is a plus.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing and composition.
- Basic understanding of social media algorithms, best practices and content trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and openness to constructive feedback.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in film, media, or a related field is advantageous.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive attitude toward creative problem solving.
