Join Pancious Tirta Jaya as a Cook 1 (Kitchen Supervisor) in Jakarta Raya. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations for a fast-paced dining environment, ensuring smooth service and adherence to standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control to deliver consistent taste and presentation.
- Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines; perform regular safety checks and temperature logs.
- Manage inventory, control wastage, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of ingredients.
- Plan and adjust staffing, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, test recipes, and execute seasonal promotions.
- Maintain equipment and workstation cleanliness; coordinate preventive maintenance and repair as needed.
- Monitor guest feedback and collaborate with front-of-house to maximize guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory or lead cook role in a busy cafe or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian cuisine, culinary techniques, and plating presentation.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse kitchen team; solid communication skills.
- Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, temperature controls, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with composure under pressure and strong time management.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail; proactive and reliable.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed; willingness to assist during peak hours.
- Food handler certification or HACCP certification is a plus.
