Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily food preparation for large-scale production (Hot and Cold sections).
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared, washed, and chopped according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all times to ensure food safety.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in the organized storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Operate professional kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace during and after service shifts.
- Follow specific recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency across all products.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMK Tata Boga/Perhotelan preferred).
- Experience as a Cook Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or relevant experience in Catering/Banquet services.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume production tasks.
- Disciplined, reliable, and possessing a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Able to work in a systematic way and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work in shift patterns as required by production schedules.
- Basic knowledge of both hot and cold food preparation techniques.
