Adamson University invites applications for a results-driven Coordinator – Digital Research Systems Management & Ethics to lead the Center for Research & Development (CRD) support for digital research systems, databases, research management platforms, and the journal and ethics systems. In this role you will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient use of research tools across the university, drive data governance, and coordinate ethical review workflows in alignment with national and institutional policies.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with faculty and researchers to optimize platform configurations, managing user access and security controls, maintaining data quality and integrity, supporting manuscript submission and publication workflows, and ensuring timely ethics approvals and ongoing compliance for research projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the operational management of digital research systems, journals, and ethics platforms, including configuration, maintenance, and user access controls.
- Coordinate data governance, data quality initiatives, and metadata standards to support reliable research outputs.
- Oversee the ethics review workflow (IRB/REC) and ensure timely approvals, continuing reviews, and reporting in compliance with policies.
- Provide training and ongoing support to researchers and staff on platform usage, data handling, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor system performance, generate usage analytics, and collaborate with IT and CRD teams to implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and audit trails for research systems and ethics processes.
- Collaborate with faculty to streamline manuscript submission, grant reporting, and publication workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Library Science, STEM, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in managing research information systems, journals, or ethics management platforms; familiarity with IRB processes.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards in the Philippine academic context.
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; experience with SQL, Excel, or BI tools is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with faculty, administrators, and IT teams; proactive problem-solver.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
