Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on overhead, mobile, and gantry crane systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in crane equipment
- Conduct thorough pre-operation checks and safety inspections, documenting all findings accurately
- Install, calibrate, and test crane components including hooks, wire ropes, and braking systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and system improvements
- Ensure compliance with MOM work-at-height regulations and Singapore workplace safety standards
- Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical support during critical operations
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and prepare technical reports as required
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in crane maintenance, repair, or heavy equipment servicing
- Valid WSQ Perform Work at Height training certification required
- Certified in Confined Space Entry training (preferable but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulic systems, and crane operational mechanisms
- Physical fitness to work at various heights and in industrial environments
- Valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving license is advantageous
