Mindteck is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Crowdtest Engineer to join our innovative technical team in Cyberjaya. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans specifically for AOSP-based software systems.
- Coordinate and manage large-scale crowd-testing cycles to identify edge-case bugs and usability issues.
- Perform deep-dive system debugging using tools such as ADB, Fastboot, and Logcat.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts in Python or Java to increase testing efficiency.
- Analyze technical logs and crash reports to provide detailed documentation for the development team.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to validate bug fixes and system enhancements.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing actionable insights to project stakeholders.
- Ensure software releases meet stringent performance, stability, and security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Android systems.
- Hands-on experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and system-level testing.
- Proficiency in basic programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, or Shell).
- Strong understanding of Android architecture, including kernel, HAL, and system services.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA) and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
