We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and security of our state-of-the-art data centre in Singapore’s Central Region. This is a high-impact contract role offering a competitive monthly salary of $4,500 – $5,500. Responsibilities
- Oversee all facility operations including power, cooling, security, and fire suppression systems to ensure maximum availability.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for critical infrastructure equipment.
- Lead and mentor a team of facility technicians and contractors.
- Monitor environmental conditions and respond to alarms, faults, and incidents in real time.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to support server deployments and hardware upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including vendor contracts and procurement.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery drills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre facilities management or critical environment operations.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgears, and BMS systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies 24/7.
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDFOM) are a plus.
- Experience with contract/temporary roles and fast-paced hiring timelines.
