Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D technical drawings and layouts for plumbing and sanitary systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements and resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure all drafts comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company quality standards.
- Maintain and update document control records and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform site surveys or measurements to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Participate in design coordination meetings to provide technical input and feasibility assessments.
- Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for technical compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Nitec in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in drafting, specifically for Plumbing and Sanitary (P&S) systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; experience in BIM/Revit is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of local code requirements for building services.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
