Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
- Design, program, and optimize complex CNC toolpaths to ensure production efficiency.
- Lead the creation of functional prototypes to validate design integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for new engineering projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design specifications, changes, and testing results.
- Continuously improve design processes to reduce waste and increase manufacturing speed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar).
- Solid understanding of CNC machining processes and manufacturing technology.
- Experience in designing for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is highly advantageous.
