As a Dining Manager, you will lead our front-of-house operations, meticulously upholding the service standards synonymous with authentic Japanese dining culture. You will mentor our service staff, oversee floor transitions, and ensure that our operational workflows remain efficient while delivering impeccable hospitality. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations to ensure seamless dining experiences and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Uphold and enforce service standards consistent with authentic Japanese dining protocols (Omotenashi).
- Lead, train, and motivate the service team to provide personalized and professional guest interactions.
- Manage restaurant table rotations, reservations, and front-of-house scheduling effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables and service equipment, reporting discrepancies to management.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution with poise and professional maturity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the dining area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a high-volume restaurant, preferably Japanese or fine dining.
- In-depth knowledge of Japanese dining etiquette and service philosophies.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
