Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual sales and marketing plans to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
  • Lead and mentor the sales, marketing, and reservations teams to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Drive digital transformation efforts, including SEO/SEM initiatives, social media strategy, and OTA relationship management.
  • Identify new market opportunities and business segments to diversify revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to implement dynamic pricing strategies and yield management.
  • Manage the brand’s positioning to ensure consistent messaging across all global channels.
  • Represent the resort at key travel trade shows, corporate events, and networking functions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership within the luxury hospitality or resort sector.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and exceeding revenue KPIs.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and revenue management tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the Malaysian hospitality market and global tourism trends.
  • Ability to travel as required to represent the brand.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
