Responsibilities
- Support bioprocess development activities under senior scientist guidance
- Prepare and sterilize media, reagents, and solutions for bioprocessing experiments
- Operate and monitor fermentation equipment including bioreactors
- Assist in downstream processing techniques including filtration, chromatography, and purification
- Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately
- Participate in data analysis and preparation of technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research and quality assurance
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or related field
- Basic understanding of bioprocessing principles and fermentation technology
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and proactive learning attitude
- Must be available for a minimum 3-month internship period
- Preference for candidates with prior laboratory or internship experience
