The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) invites an experienced Project Manager to join its Project Management Office supporting the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC). Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and closure of multiple R&D projects within ARTC.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs, variance analysis, and risk management techniques.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, status reporting, and issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to A*STAR policies, ISO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and coach project team members, promoting best practices in project management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with research leads, industry partners, and external vendors to align project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent professional project management credential.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex R&D or technology projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to scope.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, PRINCE2).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s research ecosystem and government funding frameworks is advantageous.
