Sabio Advisory Corporation is currently seeking a skilled Drafter / BIM Modeller to join our project team in Singapore. In this role, you will play a critical part in the delivery of sophisticated ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Security Systems projects.
As a BIM Modeller, you will translate complex engineering requirements into precise technical drawings and 3D models. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure high-quality, constructible designs that meet local regulatory standards and client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity to refine your expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks while contributing to landmark infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drafting and 3D BIM models for ELV and security system infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project engineers to interpret design requirements and ensure technical accuracy.
- Perform clash detection and coordination tasks using Navisworks to mitigate on-site construction issues.
- Prepare, review, and update technical shop drawings and as-built documentation.
- Manage model revisions and ensure all submissions adhere to project timelines and BIM execution plans.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants.
- Ensure all technical designs comply with local building codes, fire safety, and security standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant Built Environment discipline.
- Proven experience in BIM modelling specifically for ELV, Security, or M&E projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential.
- Strong understanding of engineering drafting standards and construction documentation processes.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work effectively in a project-based contract environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a logical approach to complex engineering challenges.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
