Job Description
The Municipal Government of Baliuag, Bulacan is seeking a dedicated Draftsman III to join our engineering team in Ilocos Region. In this role you will produce high‑quality technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints that are essential for the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, public facilities, and other community assets. Your expertise will ensure that all documentation meets national standards and regulatory requirements, directly supporting the development of vital public works that improve the quality of life for residents of Ilocos Region.
You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts, perform detailed drafting, and revise plans based on feedback. The ideal candidate is proficient in computer‑aided design (CAD) software, possesses excellent spatial reasoning, and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and maps using CAD software.
- Review and interpret design specifications, sketches, and engineering directives.
- Update existing plans to reflect design changes, field modifications, and regulatory updates.
- Coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Prepare documentation, cost estimates, and material take‑offs for draft components.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in site inspections and surveys as needed.
- Maintain digital archives and filing systems for all drafting deliverables.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting or technical drawing, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and construction practices.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Relevant technical education (e.g., Diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field) is preferred.
- Must be a Filipino citizen and willing to work in Ilocos Region.
