Jin Fu Venture Pte Ltd is a leading industrial recycling and waste management company operating advanced metal shredding, non-ferrous separation, and waste-to-energy (WTE) plants in the Loyang area. We are seeking a talented Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our electrical and control systems across multiple plant facilities.
As an E&I Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain electrical power distribution, motor control centers, instrumentation, and PLC/SCADA systems. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize plant performance. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with industrial automation, a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis for system failures, overseeing contractor work, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting capital projects from concept to commissioning. You will also be involved in developing standard operating procedures and training technicians.

Responsibilities
- Design, oversee installation, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems for metal shredding and separation plants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system faults to minimize downtime.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for process automation and monitoring.
- Ensure all systems comply with Singapore safety regulations and company standards.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement and repairs.
- Support capital projects, including cost estimation, technical specifications, and on-site supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an E&I Engineer in heavy industry (recycling, WTE, mining, or similar).
- Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation: flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical devices.
- Familiar with relevant electrical codes (IEC, NEC) and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced industrial environment.
