Responsibilities
- Lead the editorial strategy and development for a diverse portfolio of brand studio clients, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Mediacorpās brand standards.
- Oversee the entire content production lifecycle, from ideation and outlining to drafting, editing, and final publication across various digital and traditional platforms.
- Manage and mentor a team of content creators, writers, and junior editors, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, grammatically correct, adheres to brand voice guidelines, and is optimized for SEO and audience engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, designers, video producers, and account managers to develop integrated content campaigns.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging digital platforms to continuously innovate our offerings.
- Contribute to pitching new business by developing compelling content proposals and strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive editorial experience, with a significant portion in content marketing, branded content, or a media agency environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting engaging content across various formats (articles, blogs, social media, video scripts, infographics).
- Exceptional command of the English language, including superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization strategies for digital platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience in leading or mentoring a team of content creators is highly advantageous.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful content marketing campaigns or editorial work.
