Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with company policies and local environmental regulations.
- Lead thorough incident investigations and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future occurrences.
- Facilitate comprehensive safety orientations, toolbox talks, and periodic training sessions for all personnel.
- Monitor site activities to ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and update emergency response plans and maintain safety documentation/records.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
- Stay current on Philippine government safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an EHS or safety-related role, preferably in waste management or manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of local DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) and DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct detailed technical investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively conduct training and briefings.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and reporting documentation.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Mexico, Pampanga.
