Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) for industrial automation and process control.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation to ensure performance meets specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system malfunctions, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements, propose upgrades, and integrate new technologies.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams for ongoing system reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging control technologies and recommend improvements for system enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical control system design, programming, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and SCADA/HMI systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, motor controls, instrumentation, and variable frequency drives.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willing to work on-site in Carmona, Cavite and occasionally extended hours when needed.
