EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (UPS & Genset) to join our dynamic team in Kulim, Kedah. As an Electrical Engineer specializing in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and Genset (Generator Set) systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring reliable power distribution and backup solutions for our state-of-the-art facilities. You will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems that keep our operations running smoothly.
This position offers exposure to diverse electrical engineering projects, including power quality analysis, generator synchronization, and emergency power system management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, operations, and safety departments to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain UPS and generator systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical operations
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, and power distribution networks
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of genset performance and efficiency
- Monitor and analyze power quality metrics to identify issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for system upgrades and repairs
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (MS IEC standards) and company safety protocols
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and maintenance staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized university
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in electrical systems, preferably with UPS and generator applications
- Proficient in electrical distribution systems, power electronics, and control circuits
- Experience with load calculations, fault analysis, and power system protection
- Knowledge of Malaysian electrical codes and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in industrial environments
- Good communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations when required
