Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing AC and DC power capacities to identify limitations and opportunities for upgrades.
- Develop detailed load planning and forecasting models to support business growth and infrastructure expansion.
- Design and optimize electrical power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, and cabling.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including single-line diagrams, load schedules, and specification sheets.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure electrical plans align with overall project timelines and budgets.
- Perform regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and safety regulations.
- Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient solutions and technologies to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and utility providers to source materials and secure necessary permits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid PRC license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical planning, power systems design, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT) and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code, safety standards, and utility regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
