Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities and ensure works comply with project specifications and drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OSH regulations and electrical safety standards.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and site personnel to ensure seamless workflow and minimal project delays.
- Prepare comprehensive site progress reports, technical documentation, and safety records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical technical issues to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all electrical equipment and machinery are maintained and tested according to safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and assist in on-site training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical supervision within industrial or construction environments.
- Possess a valid Chargeman certification (A0/A1) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations (ST/Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements).
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Johor as required.
