As an Electrical Technician with us, you will work closely with our engineering team to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and critical repairs. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Execute electrical installations and repairs in accordance with safety standards and local regulations.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Interpret and read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals effectively.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report system status to the engineering team.
- Collaborate with other facility technicians to optimize machinery performance and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety (OHS) policies while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM, Certificate in Electrical Engineering, or a related vocational qualification (SKM/Diploma).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control panels, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger technical team.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to perform shift work if required for operational continuity.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
