Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the planning, design, and implementation of major provincial infrastructure projects.
- Conduct rigorous technical site inspections and ensure compliance with the National Building Code and local government regulations.
- Review and approve detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications submitted by contractors.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement requirements to ensure efficient utilization of government resources.
- Supervise a team of junior engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship and performance oversight.
- Coordinate with local, regional, and national agencies to align infrastructure goals with provincial development plans.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and project updates for provincial leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Must hold a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License for Civil Engineer.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering project management.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement laws (RA 9184) and public works regulations.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
