Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain sophisticated test fixtures and automation equipment for new product development.
- Develop and optimize test software and scripts (e.g., C++, Python, LabVIEW) to improve test coverage and accuracy.
- Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports to identify trends and areas for product improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and technical training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams to define test strategies and validate design requirements.
- Ensure all test environments comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in R&D test development or quality assurance engineering.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW.
- Proven track record of designing custom test equipment and fixtures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members effectively.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
