The Municipal Government of Baliuag, Bulacan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our team in the Ilocos Region. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of engineering designs, plans, and blueprints for municipal projects
- Conduct field inspections to monitor project compliance with specifications, safety standards, and timelines
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other government agencies to ensure smooth project execution
- Prepare cost estimates, progress reports, and documentation for project approvals
- Maintain and update engineering records, databases, and filing systems
- Provide technical support during meetings and public consultations
- Assist in the implementation of infrastructure maintenance programs
- Support senior engineers in research, data analysis, and feasibility studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience (fresh graduates with strong academic record are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in Ilocos Region and travel to project sites
