Search Personnel is looking for a strategic Engineering & BOM Manager to lead the Bill of Materials (BOM) and materials governance for our cuttingâedge semiconductor manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the full BOM lifecycleâincluding creation, revision control, and endâofâlife managementâensuring data integrity and compliance across our ERP platform.
You will work handâinâhand with design, production, and supplyâchain teams to optimize material flow, reduce waste, and boost production yield. By conducting rigorous rootâcause analysis (RCA) and driving corrective action plans (CAR), youâll directly influence product quality and operational efficiency. Your technical expertise will also be called upon during requestâforâquotation (RFQ) processes, where youâll provide precise BOM and cost data to support competitive pricing decisions.

Responsibilities
- Own the BOM governance framework, establishing standards for part numbering, revision control, and documentation.
- Manage ECO/EOL lifecycles, coordinating crossâfunctional teams to implement changes seamlessly.
- Ensure ERP master data accuracy (materials, routings, BOM structures) in SAP or equivalent.
- Drive RCA/CAR investigations to resolve yield losses and improve product quality.
- Support RFQ activities by providing accurate BOM and materialâcost inputs.
- Monitor KPIs such as BOM accuracy, material availability, and inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure onâtime delivery and component quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BOM management, materials planning, or engineering within semiconductor or highâtech manufacturing.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) with handsâon experience maintaining BOM master data.
- Solid understanding of ECO/EOL processes and engineering change control.
- Proven track record in RCA/CAR methodologies and driving yieldâimprovement projects.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and communication skills to influence crossâfunctional stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, highâmix production environment.
- PMP, APICS, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
