About the Role
Reporting directly to the Plant Director, you will be the key driver of reliability and efficiency. You will develop and execute robust maintenance strategies, implement Lean/TPM methodologies, and oversee a significant annual budget. This role demands a proactive, hands-on leader who can collaborate across departments to solve complex technical challenges and ensure the plant operates at peak performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technicians to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Develop and implement strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize plant reliability and minimize downtime.
- Oversee the management of the CMMS to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) to optimize equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reduce operational costs.
- Manage the engineering maintenance budget, including capital expenditure, spare parts inventory, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies across all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and support new product introductions.
- Spearhead root cause analysis for major equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience, having managed a team of at least 10-15 direct and indirect reports.
- Deep understanding of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CMMS, PLC, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to be based in Surabaya and work fully on-site (WFO).
