Join Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel), a leading Singapore-based technology and communications provider, as an Engineering Solutioning Manager focused on Data Centre A&A and fit-out projects. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role ideal for engineers who combine technical excellence with strategic project delivery.
You will lead end-to-end engineering solutioning for alterations and additions (A&A) and fit-out works within critical data centre facilities. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil teams, and external vendors to develop robust, compliant, and cost-effective designs that meet stringent reliability, safety, and energy efficiency standards.
As the engineering owner of data centre solutioning, you will own design reviews, technical specifications, BOMs, and procurement strategies, while managing project schedules, change management, and commissioning readiness. You will mentor junior engineers, drive best practices in design and delivery, and contribute to the development of scalable data centre engineering standards within Singapore and the wider region.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solutioning for Data Centre A&A and fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Develop technical designs, scope definitions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and cost estimates in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Architectural teams, and manage vendor/subcontractor relationships, procurement, and construction sequencing.
- Oversee design reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments; manage RFI/CO processes and change orders.
- Ensure safety, reliability, power integrity, cooling efficiency, and environmental compliance of data centre facilities.
- Lead project teams, mentor engineers, and promote best practices in design delivery and quality management.
- Prepare thorough documentation and facilitate smooth handover to operations with as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional accreditation (PE/CE) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data centre engineering, A&A, fit-out, or mission-critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of data centre design standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier) and Singaporean BCA codes.
- Experience with MEP coordination, BIM modeling, construction management tools, and project lifecycle.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications, and commissioning documentation.
- Familiarity with safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
