We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Supervisor (Automation Specialist) to lead our engineering and maintenance team at our facility in Tangerang.
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing all maintenance operations of plant equipment, utilities, and facilities, ensuring they run at peak efficiency and meet stringent quality and safety standards. You will be the driving force behind our automation roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance production capabilities through advanced technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics.
Your leadership will directly impact our operational success. You will be responsible for developing preventive maintenance strategies, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and managing a team of skilled technicians and engineers. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance and engineering team to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all equipment, utilities, and facilities.
- Lead and manage automation and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot advanced mechanical, electrical, and control system failures, providing expert technical guidance.
- Oversee spare parts inventory management, procurement planning, and maintenance budget control.
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards, environmental health & safety (EHS) regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, maintenance KPIs, and performance dashboards to senior management.
- Mentor, train, and develop technical staff to build a highly skilled and motivated team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep expertise in automation systems including PLC (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron), SCADA, HMI, and VFDs.
- Proven track record in managing maintenance operations and driving continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation.
- Advanced computer literacy (CMMS, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD is a plus).
