In this position, you will be responsible for executing burn-in, HAST, temperature cycling, and other stress tests per industry standards and internal specifications. You will collect and analyze data, document results, and troubleshoot anomalies to support continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate reliability stress test equipment (e.g., thermal chambers, HAST systems, burn-in boards) in accordance with test plans and safety protocols.
- Monitor ongoing tests, record environmental conditions, and ensure data integrity throughout the test lifecycle.
- Perform electrical characterization (parametric, functional) on test samples before, during, and after stress exposure.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, failures, and deviations; generate detailed reports for engineering review.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
- Collaborate with reliability engineers to refine test methods and implement new procedures as required.
- Document all test activities, log results in the laboratory information system, and support quality audits.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor or electronics reliability laboratory environment.
- Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, data loggers, and other test and measurement instruments.
- Strong understanding of reliability test methods such as HTOL, HAST, TCT, and ESD/LU.
- Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets, schematics, and test specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills; experience with spreadsheet and database software.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules if required and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
