SATS is currently seeking an Engineering Technician to support our maintenance operations in Changi, East Region. As part of our team you will play a key role in keeping groundâhandling equipment, baggageâhandling systems, and related electrical/mechanical infrastructure operating at peak performance.
This is a fullâtime position with a $5,000 joining bonus for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Executing scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as conveyors, hoists, and power systems.
- Diagnosing faults, performing rootâcause analysis, and implementing effective repairs promptly.
- Maintaining accurate records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and preparing technical reports.
- Supporting the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and upgrades.
- Ensuring all work adheres to local safety regulations, industry standards, and SATS policies.
- Collaborating with engineers, operations staff, and external contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, safety audits, and training sessions.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on groundâhandling and baggageâhandling equipment.

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records within the CMMS.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimise equipment performance.
- Participate in safety audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or NTC in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of handsâon experience in maintenance, repair, or engineering technician role.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Strong problemâsolving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and be onâcall when required.
- Eligible for the $5,000 joining bonus â must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
