Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and plant utilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Operate diagnostic tools and precision measurement instruments
- Implement safety protocols and compliance procedures
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system optimization projects
- Manage spare parts inventory and requisition new materials
Qualifications
- Associate degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance
- Proficiency in mechanical system diagnostics and repair
- Knowledge of OHS and industrial safety standards
- Experience with CAD drawings and technical schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Basic understanding of electrical systems integration
- Certification in mechanical or HVAC maintenance preferred
