Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate English language lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
- Observe and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents through formal and informal communication.
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their health, safety, and emotional well-being at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and administrative staff to improve school standards.
- Develop positive, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Implement positive behavioral guidance strategies to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent L2 certification recognized by ECDA.
- Proven experience in a preschool or childcare setting in Singapore.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Passionate about early childhood development and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be registered with the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
