Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Specialize in IELTS preparation, equipping students with effective strategies and techniques to achieve target scores.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, mock tests, and constructive feedback sessions.
- Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic staff to continuously review and improve teaching materials and methodologies.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development training, and school events.
- Provide academic counseling and individualized support to help students overcome learning challenges.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (S1) in English Literature, English Education, or a closely related field.
- Achieved an IELTS overall band score of 7.0 or higher (or equivalent proficiency certification).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven teaching experience, specifically in IELTS preparation or ESL instruction.
- Strong classroom management and people management skills with the ability to inspire and lead students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; native or near-native fluency is highly preferred.
- Creative, energetic, and deeply passionate about language education and student development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Holds a recognized teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) – preferred.
