We are currently seeking a dedicated English, Literature & Moral Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the KS3 curriculum in English, Literature, and Moral Education, ensuring that students not only meet academic standards but also develop a strong moral compass. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Literature, and Moral Education for secondary school students (KS3).
- Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with educational standards and school objectives.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular activities and school events.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees.
- Guide students in their moral and personal development, promoting values such as empathy and responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g., KSSR, KSSM or equivalent) recognized in Malaysia.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably with KS3 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Knowledge of the Malaysian education system is an advantage.
