Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Literature, and Moral Education for secondary school students (KS3).
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with educational standards and school objectives.
  • Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular activities and school events.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school committees.
  • Guide students in their moral and personal development, promoting values such as empathy and responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (e.g., KSSR, KSSM or equivalent) recognized in Malaysia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably with KS3 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian education system is an advantage.
