Role Overview
As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the preparation, coordination, and submission of environmental-related documentation and technical reports. Responsibilities
- Prepare, coordinate, and submit environmental documentation including reports, permits, and compliance submissions
- Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for various projects
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia's environmental laws, regulations, and standards
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement environmental management plans
- Review technical documents and provide recommendations for environmental best practices
- Monitor and track environmental regulations and advise on necessary changes
- Support data collection, analysis, and interpretation of environmental samples and metrics
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders regarding environmental requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering sector
- Knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and EIA processes
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and environmental software tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
