We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Executive to join the growing team at Mss Iso Tank & Depot Sdn Bhd. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Environmental Treatment Plants (ETP), ensuring wastewater treatment processes run efficiently and meet strict environmental standards.
Your expertise will be critical in overseeing laboratory testing procedures, managing hazardous waste handling protocols, and ensuring rigorous environmental monitoring. You will also be tasked with preparing comprehensive compliance reports for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Environmental Treatment Plants (ETP) to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance with DOE standards.
- Conduct regular laboratory testing of water, air, and soil samples to monitor environmental quality and identify potential issues.
- Oversee the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Prepare and submit detailed monitoring, analysis, and reporting (MAR) to regulatory authorities and internal management.
- Implement and enforce Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies across the depot and tank facilities.
- Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory bodies for environmental certifications, renewals, and inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Proven experience in ETP operation, industrial waste management, or environmental compliance roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations (Department of Environment - DOE) and waste handling codes.
- Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures, data analysis, and environmental software tools.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple monitoring tasks efficiently, and adhere to strict safety schedules.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site visits and depot inspections.
