Job Description
Tempindo Jasatama is seeking an experienced EPLAN Implementation Engineer to lead the complete rollout of EPLAN Electric P8 and related EPLAN modules on a contractual basis in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will drive standardization, maximize engineering efficiency, and ensure seamless integration with our electrical design and manufacturing processes.
As the EPLAN Implementation Engineer, you will own the end-to-end deployment of EPLAN Electric P8 across our project workflows, ensuring alignment with company standards and sector best practices. You will lead module rollouts, create custom macros and templates, and define data exchange processes to support rapid design, documentation, and change management. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and operations teams to integrate EPLAN outputs with PLC/SCADA systems, ERP, and BOM management tools. You will also establish robust documentation, version control, and audit trails to support compliance and project traceability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the complete rollout of EPLAN Electric P8 and related modules, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
- Configure EPLAN environments to support company standards, templates, macros, and data exchange requirements.
- Develop and maintain electrical design templates, macros, symbol libraries, and project templates to accelerate engineering workflows.
- Integrate EPLAN outputs with PLC/SCADA systems, ERP/BOM, and PDM tools, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Produce accurate wiring diagrams, schematics, interconnect diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) using EPLAN.
- Lead project documentation, change control, revision management, and ensure traceability for audits.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to engineers and technicians; provide ongoing support during rollout and post-implementation.
- Identify and troubleshoot EPLAN performance issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience implementing EPLAN Electric P8 in manufacturing or electrical design environments.
- Strong proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, macros, templates, and data exchange workflows.
- Experience with PLC/SCADA integration, BOM management, and electrical documentation standards.
- Solid understanding of IEC standards and electrical safety practices; ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Project coordination or management experience; ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel onsite for rollout activities as needed.
