Private Advertiser is seeking a meticulous Software Tester (QC) to join our dynamic team in Malang, East Java. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, problem solving, and collaboratively elevating software quality. As part of the Quality Control (QC) group, you will help ensure that our products meet business goals and user expectations through thorough testing and clear defect communication.
Your responsibilities include designing and executing comprehensive test cases, performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing, and documenting results with reproducible steps. You will maintain test artifacts, track defects in our issue tracking system, and work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA members to triage issues and validate fixes. You will contribute to test plans, quality metrics, and QA process improvements that accelerate delivery without compromising reliability.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on requirements and user stories.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
- Document test results, defects, and coverage with clear steps to reproduce.
- Collaborate with QC teammates, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to triage defects and verify fixes.
- Create and maintain test data and testing environments to support reliable testing.
- Contribute to test plans, risk assessments, and QA process improvements to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
- Support basic test automation efforts and assist automation engineers to expand test coverage.
- Ensure release readiness by validating fixes and new features before sign-off.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of software QA/testing experience; fresh graduates with internships are welcome.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA processes.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with API testing (Postman or similar).
- Basic automation exposure (Selenium or similar) and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and collaborative communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, with proficiency in Indonesian and English.
