This role is pivotal in managing end-to-end EV charging projects, from installation and maintenance to compliance, software updates, and customer support—while also contributing to sales and business development efforts.

As an EV Executive, you will be the bridge between technical operations and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every charging station operates seamlessly and that our clients receive top-tier service. You will work closely with installation teams, software engineers, and external vendors to uphold safety standards, regulatory compliance, and uptime targets. Your sales acumen will help identify new business opportunities, foster partnerships, and promote IPTB’s EV solutions to a growing market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of EV charging station installation projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of existing charging infrastructure, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and local authority requirements for all EV charging sites.
  • Coordinate software updates, firmware upgrades, and remote monitoring to maintain optimal station performance and connectivity.
  • Provide hands-on customer support, resolving technical issues and responding to inquiries to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, including B2B partnerships, fleet electrification projects, and public charging network expansion.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as station uptime, energy consumption, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and government incentives related to EV charging and renewable energy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in project management, operations, or technical sales within the EV, renewable energy, or electrical infrastructure industry.
  • Hands-on knowledge of EV charging standards (e.g., CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2) and AC/DC charging system components.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, installation blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM tools, project management software, and remote monitoring platforms is a plus.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Selangor and occasionally other states.
