White Shark Event, a leading event production company in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a creative and dynamic Event Graphic Designer / Event 3D Design professional to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will be the visual storyteller behind our most impactful events, transforming concepts into stunning 2D and 3D designs that captivate audiences and elevate brand experiences.
You will collaborate closely with event managers, creative directors, and production teams to deliver on-theme designs under tight deadlines. From initial mood boards and floor plans to final 3D renderings and signage, your work will shape the look and feel of corporate events, exhibitions, product launches, and festivals. We value innovation, attention to detail, and the ability to balance artistic vision with practical execution.
Your designs will span print and digital assets—including brochures, banners, stage backdrops, booth layouts, and immersive environment concepts. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software like 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Blender is essential. You will also contribute to client pitches by creating compelling visual presentations.

Responsibilities
- Develop creative 2D and 3D design concepts for events, exhibitions, and activations that align with client themes and brand guidelines.
- Create detailed event layouts, stage designs, floor plans, and immersive environment renderings using industry-standard software.
- Design print and digital collateral including invitations, banners, signage, brochures, and on-screen presentations.
- Collaborate with event teams to understand requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure smooth integration with production and logistics.
- Present design proposals and mock-ups to clients and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine final outputs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to every project.
- Assist with on-site setup and coordination to ensure design execution matches planned vision.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, 3D Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in event design, exhibition design, or similar creative role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D modeling software (3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, or equivalent).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D and 3D event design projects, including renderings and finished work.
- Excellent visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and layout skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to last-minute changes.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
