Ann Joo is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive – General Procurement to join our dynamic team in Petaling, Selangor. This role is pivotal in managing the indirect procurement of general, mechanical, and electrical products and services that keep our facilities running at peak performance.
In this position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying reputable vendors to negotiating high-value contracts. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, particularly within the engineering and maintenance departments, to ensure that technical specifications are met and that the products supplied are of the highest quality. Your focus will be on optimizing costs without compromising on safety or reliability, contributing directly to the company's bottom line.

Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for indirect materials, including general, mechanical, and electrical supplies.
- Conduct strategic sourcing activities to identify and qualify new suppliers for cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure maximum value.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately within the ERP system.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to understand mechanical and electrical specifications for parts and services.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and records for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Resolve disputes or issues regarding invoices, deliveries, and product quality with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement, specifically focusing on MRO or industrial supplies.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components and industrial services.
- Proven track record of successful price negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in ERP software (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics in handling commercial transactions.
