Your primary responsibility will be to ensure every guest feels valued and well-cared for from the moment they arrive. You will work closely with our culinary and service teams to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service efficiency. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and making recommendations when requested.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to dietary requirements.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and manage table turnover efficiently.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant for daily operations and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, waiter, or in a customer-facing F&B role is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and menu items.
