Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and providing information on daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process guest payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist in the setup and clear-down of the dining area before, during, and after service hours.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Food & Beverage service role is advantageous, but fresh graduates with a passion for hospitality are welcome.
- A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and (optionally) in writing.
- A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and carry trays/dishes.
