Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise GPS data collection for all installed kWh meters within the designated franchise area.
  • Verify and record meter identification numbers, installation dates, and other relevant field data.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of collected geographical information for integration into OEDC's GIS database.
  • Plan and optimize daily inspection routes to maximize efficiency and cover assigned territories effectively.
  • Document any discrepancies, damaged meters, or unusual findings during field inspections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data inconsistencies and provide field-based insights.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines while performing field duties.
  • Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports on inspection progress and findings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Vocational Certificate; a degree in Geodetic Engineering, Surveying, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience with GPS devices, mapping software, or GIS applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based setting.
  • Good physical condition and ability to walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and report generation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license (motorcycle preferred) and ability to navigate Olongapo City and Zambales areas.
