Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power generation equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical malfunctions in the field under tight deadlines.
- Coordinate with technical teams and clients to ensure all work meets stringent safety and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and site assessment records after each deployment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or site operators on equipment functionality.
- Manage inventory of essential spare parts and tools required for field service interventions.
- Travel for overseas deployment as required to support regional projects and emergency service calls.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in field service, specifically within the power generation or heavy machinery industry.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
- Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting skills with a focus on diesel generators, turbines, or similar power assets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with international clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively for overseas projects as per operational requirements.
- A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.
- Valid driving license and a clean safety record.
