As a Field Service Engineer, you will contribute to customer success by performing installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment. You will also prepare service reports, manage spare parts requests, and maintain detailed activity logs. Collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams is essential to accurately scope service requirements and drive solutions that meet customer expectations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and compliance with company standards, while offering ongoing training and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers across assigned territory, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
- Install, diagnose, repair, calibrate, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment to meet performance specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of complex systems.
- Commission equipment and conduct tests to verify proper operation and performance against specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive service reports, document findings, and submit spare parts requests and daily activity logs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to define service scope, parts, and timelines, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety, quality standards, and company processes; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
- 1+ year of field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities; capable of translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in reading schematics/technical drawings and using test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- Willingness to travel within the service area; resides in or near Pasig City; valid driver’s license is a plus.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professional development; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
